Aurum English Cockers

 Our small preservation kennel is located in the foothills of northwestern South Carolina. Since making this beautiful area our home in 2017, my fiancé and I have dedicated ourselves to preserving and promoting the English Cocker Spaniel through responsible, ethical breeding and active participation in the sport of purebred dogs.

Our breeding program is founded on a commitment to the AKC Breed Standard, with an emphasis on sound structure, exceptional temperament, and long-term health. Every breeding is thoughtfully planned with the goal of preserving the qualities that make the English Cocker Spaniel such a remarkable companion and sporting breed. We believe that quality always takes precedence over quantity, and we produce only a limited number of carefully planned litters each year.

I have been privileged to serve as President, Vice President, and Corresponding Secretary of our local kennel club and remain actively involved in the dog community through conformation, continuing education, and breed preservation. I am also a proud member of the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America, the Seaboard English Cocker Spaniel Club, and the Lone Star English Cocker Spaniel Club. These affiliations allow me to stay connected with fellow preservation breeders and remain committed to the future of our breed.

My career as a veterinary technician began in 2002, and more than two decades of experience in veterinary medicine have provided invaluable knowledge in canine health, genetics, and preventive care. Health is never an afterthought in our breeding program. Our breeding dogs undergo appropriate health testing, and every breeding decision is made with the goal of producing sound, healthy puppies with stable temperaments and correct breed type.

Our puppies are raised in our home with individualized care, early socialization, and enrichment to help them develop into confident, well-adjusted companions. Whether destined for the show ring, performance events, hunting, or as beloved family members, we strive to produce English Cocker Spaniels that exemplify the breed’s beauty, versatility, and joyful temperament.

Above all, we are preservation breeders. We are committed to protecting the future of the English Cocker Spaniel by breeding with purpose, integrity, and respect for the generations of dedicated breeders who came before us.
